JIISAS

Maatiyo 1:21 Oganiigi'an dash iniw ogwisan,
 JIISAS
 dash kiga'izhinikaanaa: mimaa aw
 ge'ikonaamaawaat iniw otaanishinaabeman
 obataziwini.

Matt 1:21 And she shall bring forth
 a son, and thou shalt call his name 
JESUS:
  for he shall save his people
 from their sins.

Maatiyo 1:22 Kakina sa o'o gii'oniji'izhiwebat,
 jitibishkoseg iw gaa'ikitopan aw Kishemanito,
 iw giinotagot iniw otaanwaajigewininiman,
 o'o giikitot,

Matt 1:22 Now all this was done,
 that it might be fulfilled which
 was spoken of the Lord by
 the prophet, saying,
 
Maatiyo 1:23 Ina, oshkinigiikwe taotaabinojiimi,
 oganiigi'aan dash iniw ogwisan,
 Emmanuel oga'izhiwinaawaan,
 iw dash wiin anikanotaming,
 Kishemanito kiwiijayawigonaan.


Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall
 be with child, and shall bring
 forth a son, and they shall call
 his name Emmanuel, which being
 interpreted is,
 God with us.
