האר גאָט,

געשריבן ניט מיט טינט אָבער מיט די

גייסט פון די לעבעדיק גאָט, ניט אויף טאַבלאַץ

פון שטיין אָבער אויף טאַבלאַץ פון מענטשלעך האַרץ.

קלאר איר זענט אַ בריוו פון משיח.

די בריוו איז געשריבן ניט מיט פּען און טינט,

אָבער מיט דעם רוח.

עס איז קאַרווד ניט אין טאַבלאַץ פון שטיין,

אָבער אין מענטשלעך האַרץ.

You show that you are a letter from the living
Lord God ,
written not with ink but with the
Spirit of the living God, not on tablets
of stone but on tablets of human heart.
Clearly you are a letter from Christ .
The letter is written not with pen and ink ,
but with the Holy Spirit.
It is carved not in tablets of stone,
but in human heart.
